This session is for researcher developers, doctoral college teams, and anyone working to support doctoral students in universities.

Dr.App is a mobile-friendly online resource giving access to the unique video series supporting doctoral students by Angel Productions. The videos are indexed and arranged by topic, creating ‘the PhD companion in your pocket’.

In this session we will explain how our very affordable institutional licences enhance the support you give your students by giving them access to Dr.App. We will play excerpts from some of the videos, including the award-winning ‘Good Viva Video’ and ‘The PhD Survival Video’ which was described as ‘essential viewing’ by the Times Higher. Producer Stephen Engelhard will be joined by Prof John Wakeford of the Missenden Centre, who is the editorial consultant to the video series. We will be happy to discuss your questions and comments.
